POSSESSED MACHINES AND MANIAC DRIVERS

Demons and ghosts can attach themselves to objects as easily as they can to people, and even alien energy beings or psychic forces can invisibly operate machines to attack us.

Of course, it’s more likely there’s a maniac human behind the wheel, as in films like Duel (1971), Death Proof (2007) and the Mad Max series (1979-2015). I include maniac drivers here as the focus of these stories is not on the maniac so much as his vehicle.
